In a time when nothing seems to be back to normal, well… we are!
The 12th Annual Poles n Holes Ice Fishing Derby is back and better than ever. No masks, unless it’s cold anyway. No limit on participant or spectator numbers. Things are really back to normal.
The response to our one size fits all ticketing on-line was so positive last year that we have kept much of that in place. The only place to buy advance tickets is online here. And all tickets entitle you to fish two holes-that’s double the chance to win.
Tickets are available on-ice on the day of the event, but you can avoid the lines and check-in delays by just getting it done on-line!
Our prize package is as generous as ever—over $30,000 in prizes highlighted by an Ambush Stryker Fish house, a 2022 Polaris Four Wheeler, and a 2022 Bear Track Utility Trailer. Gift cards, ice fishing accessories, the list goes on and on. And don’t forget about the raffle—that’s another $15,000 in prizes you can win! Oh and one other thing that’s back—the Ice Palace!!! You’ll recall a few years ago when the inaugural Polar Fest Ice Palace was built. It attracted thousands of visitors to Detroit Lakes. And this year’s palace promises to be the largest one yet! So bring your family and make a weekend of it as you enjoy all the other events that are part of Polarfest here in Detroit Lakes.
