The first snow has fallen, the temps are dropping and soon there will be ice on the lakes—time to think ice fishing!
The 13th annual Poles n Holes Ice Fishing Derby will be held on February 11, 2023 on Little Detroit Lake. After a couple of years of tough weather, we’re hoping for a nice day. But we’re also preparing to improve the ice fishing experience for our loyal participants.
This year, there will be:
1. More warming areas with sponsor showcase, games, door prizes. If you’re thinking about coming to the derby but not sure you can make it all day without a break—this is for you!
2. More food and beverage options. Watch for more information on this. Last year we ended up without any food and beverage and that will NOT happen again!
3. More options for tickets! The one-hole fishing ticket is back! And now there are three ways to purchase tickets—on-line, at local ticket vendors and the day of the derby on the ice. Check out the discounts for purchasing on-line! You can save $10 per ticket!
We’ll have more updates you as the date approaches. And that’s in addition to the things you already love about the derby. Great prizes! An awesome raffle! A fun, fun atmosphere!
